Summer skating runs from July 15 – August 21.
Registration for summer skating opens online at our registration link @ 9:00 am on Saturday, May 31. Starskaters with home-clubs that are NOT BFSC MUST WAIT UNTIL JUNE 7 to register for summer programs.

SKATING LOCATIONS:
All skating will take place at South Courtice Arena. Sessions will be held on Pad B. Please check the video boards when you enter the arena to confirm the Pad location of your session and dressing room assignment.
CANSKATE PROGRAMMING
- Canskate is for children 3yrs and up
- 50 minute learn to skate program for children with some experience OR no prior experience
- Skaters of different skill levels & ages may still skate on the same Canskate session
- All new skaters for the 2024-25 season will be charged an additional mandatory Skate Canada fee of $61.70 upon checkout.
STARSKATE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Junior – MUST have Passed a minimum of Stage 4 and have been invited. The exception for this is on the OPEN session. OPEN sessions require Junior skaters to have a passed all of Stage 6 and have a private coach.
- Intermediate – All three Star 1 Assessments – Freeskate Elements, Dance Elements and Skills and have a private coach
- Senior – All Star 3 tests, PLUS two of the following: Star 4 Skills, Star 4 Dance (Swing & Fiesta) and/or Star 4 Freeskate (Elements and Program) & must have a private coach
- Open Sessions – These sessions are open to Senior, Intermediate and Junior Starskaters that have passed a minimum of ALL Stage 6 and have a private coach.
BFSC SUMMER SCHEDULE
All new skaters for the 2024-25 season will be charged an additional mandatory, non-refundable Skate Canada fee of $61.70 upon checkout.
Any requests for withdrawal must be made in writing within 2 weeks of the start of the first session to registration@bfsc.net.
** Please note that schedules may be changed and/or altered if minimum numbers are not reached. If enrolment is too low for a program to run, families will be contacted about a change in time and/or refund.
