REGISTRATION - 2011/2012 SKATING PROGRAMS

Registration Dates:

The next registration dates will be posted when they are confirmed.

Our last registration sessions were held:

Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Garnet B Rickard Recreation Complex
Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 6:30pm – 8:00pm at South Courtice Arena
Monday, December 5, 2011, 6:30pm – 8:00pm at South Courtice Arena (Don't forget the Skate Exchange is happening as well)
Tuesday, December 6, 2011, 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Garnet B Rickard Recreation Complex

When registering for a program we accept cash or cheque.  Also, if registering for a Starskate program please provide proof of highest test passed for the level you are wishing to register for.

CanSkate

Designed for beginners of all ages with the focus on fun, participation and basic skill development. Children advance at their own pace, earn badges and other incentives. It is a group format, led by an NCCP certified professional coach. Professional coaches are assisted by trained Program Assistants.

CanSkate ADVANCE

This program offers an opportunity for the CanSkater who wants to advance to private lessons with the benefit of still having group instruction. Includes a CanSkate 1 day and STARSkate and a 1 day Level 1 per week.

CanPOWER Skate

An action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters. Further Information.

STAR Skate

Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what is all about! Skaters of all ages develop fundamental figure skating skills. A private coach is required.

Competitive Skaters

CanSkaters and STARSkaters who want to challenge their figure skating skills and show potential as competitive skaters can participate in the competitive program.


When you sign up for a skating program you become a member of Skate Canada. Your Skate Canada membership fee includes access to all Skate Canada programs and also provides insurance coverage.
