Coaches who teach in Skate Canada clubs must be National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Trained and/or Certified. They must be a current registered professional coach of Skate Canada. They also must have completed a Skate Canada approved clearance check and positions of trust check and hold a valid First Aid Certificate. Coaches progress through the levels from CanSkate to National Certification.
