BFSC is proud to announce the schedule and fees for the 2024 Summer Season. Summer programming will run for 7 sessions from July 16-Aug. 29. All skating will take place at South Courtice Arena, Pad B.
Requests for withdrawal from any program must be received in writing by Registration@bfsc.net within two weeks of the start of the session. Only the remaining sessions will be refunded. The Skate Canada Membership fee is nonrefundable.

Fees:
Canskate: $161 program fee + $59 Skate Canada fee (only for new 2023-2024 Canskate participants)
PreCanskate: $140 program fee + $59 Skate Canada fee (only for new 2023-2024 Canskate participants)
Junior/Intermediate/Senior Starskate Costs: $161 fee for each session
Description/Requirements:
CANSKATE:
- 50 min program for skaters with no experience needed
- For ages 3 years and up
- A dynamic program that focuses on fun and basic skating skill development
PRE-CANSKATE:
- 25 min program for children 3-4 years of age, designed for those who have never skated before or who are not confident with their balance on the ice.
- Will introduce children to the ice, help them become comfortable and work on the essentials needed to move safely and effectively on the ice.
STARSKATE:
- Junior – Open Session Juniors must have completed all of Stage 6 AND have a private coach. For the Wednesday JUNIOR only session, no private lessons/coaching is permitted. This is a group session only.
- Intermediate – Minimum requirements are all three Star 1 tests and must have a private coach
- Senior – All Star 3 tests, plus two Star 4 tests & must have a private coach
